HEALTHNET OF rock county


HealthNet of Rock County, Inc. is the only free and charitable clinic in Rock County, providing essential medical, dental, and behavioral health services at no charge or reduced costs to uninsured and under-insured residents. Established in 1994, the organization focuses on preventive care and chronic disease management to improve health outcomes for the local community. Services include primary care, dental treatments, individual counseling, and various health education programs. HealthNet aims to enhance the quality of life for underserved populations and has been recognized for its commitment to quality care.

Volunteer Requests: Certified Nursing Assistants, Dentists, Medical doctors, Nurses, Office Assistance, Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, Physical therapists, Psychiatrists and Social workers.


Our Wish List: Postage stamps, office supplies (printer paper, pens) cleaning supplies, paper supplies, Rosetta Stone – Spanish, Flat screen TV (with USB port), gift cards to local office store or grocery store.



WHAT THEY HAVE DONE:


  • Provided over 23,567 prescriptions worth an estimated $1.5 million annually to prevent health care crisis situations.


  • Reduced the number of ER visits for 74% of our patients that consider HealthNet their medical home.


  • Enrolled patients into the Badger Care Core Plus program or placed them on the appropriate waiting list.


  • Implemented a new policy for patients to verify that they are uninsured by providing a denial letter from the State program. This ensures that HealthNet is complying with contract requirements and that there is no duplication of service.


  • Ensure that our patients overall health status — whether it be for diabetes or hypertension — is improving with a population health focus.


  • Services Offered: Medical Clinic, General Primary Health Care, Mental Health Care Pediatrics, Vision Care, Medications, Health Education.


  • Dental Clinic: Teeth Cleaning, Fluoride and Sealant Treatments, Fillings Dental X-rays, Extractions.


  • Behavioral Health Clinic: Individual Counseling, Group Therapy, EDMR (Trauma Responsive) Substance Use/MAT
